In June 2000, Connecticut recreational diver Mike Brauer discovered a mishoon in Lake Quinsigamond, Worcester MA. In May 2001, Chris Hugo identified a second mishoon near the original one. A third was recorded in October 2001 on the opposite side of the lake. Sidescan sonar indicates there may be more. Visual confirmation by the project's divers is necessary.
